Genesis: Chapter 3, Verses 17-19

17. And to the Earth Being,Infinite One said: “You, too, have acted not by your own desire and choice but by the influence of another.  You have listened to the voice of Fire Being when you should have listened to your own inner voice and you ate from the tree of which I instructed you to  not eat.  Now that you, too, have separated your spirit self from your physical self,  your relationship with the earth has become severed so that you will find it strenuous to pick her gifts where once she yielded to you her fruits with ease.

18.  “Weeds and thorns will be your crop, for your have separated your Self from the earth and now see yourself as different from the rest of creation.  As you have surrendered your own power to the voice of another, you will eat not of what you wish to bring forth but of what the earth chooses to yield, such as herbs and grasses.

19.  “As for that which you desire to bring forth from the earth, such as bread, it shall come to you only through hard toil and much sweat, and this is how it will be for you until you return to being in relationship with the earth again, for it is from earth that you were taken. Remember you are not just of the earth but that you are earth itself, and you must therefore endeavor to again become earth.”
