Yoga therapy for the Special Child includes an integrated system of

to help children with Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Attention
Deficit Disorderand Learning Disabilities.
Yoga training for the children with special
needs includes a comprehensive series of balanced yoga poses to increase body awareness, strength and flexibility.
Specialized breathingexercises and relaxation techniques to improve concentration and reduce
hyperactivity. An early intervention program to assure the healthy formative development
of infants and toddlers is encouraged. Participation in yoga classes is open to children 5 yrs and older
and their parents. Special pre-school classes are also available for children and their parents.
